From the Arizona Fairways to the Lab Bench
We’re Trenton, Troy and Trey Terry—three brothers raised under the relentless Arizona sun, chasing golf balls across scorching fairways and dreaming of something bigger than par. Growing up in our small hometown, we spent long summer days on the links, where the desert heat was as unpredictable as a bad slice. I went on to play professional golf for four years, touring courses coast to coast—must-see stadiums, VIP clubhouses, early mornings, late nights, and every kind of weather in between. Trey and Troy were never far behind—Trey, as my manager, caddie, chief strategist, and Troy my biggest supporter. Trey learned the ropes alongside me, carrying my bag, carrying my hopes, and carrying gallons of electrolyte mix to keep us both from cramping up in the heat.
The Formation of ElectroBalm
On one particularly blistering afternoon in Texas, after downing our umpteenth bottle of powdered electrolytes, Trey and Troy were talking to eachother and looked at me, lips cracked and burning, and asked: “Why don’t we put electrolytes in chapstick?”
I laughed—hard. “No way,” I said. But from that moment on, we all couldn’t un-hear it.
Chapped lips were no small annoyance when you’re out there grinding on tour; they’re a barrier to your best performance. And if electrolytes keep your muscles firing, why couldn’t they keep your skin—and lips—firing, too?
The Reseach Begins
Back home in Arizona, the boys dove into the science:
Sodium PCA, Potassium PCA & Magnesium PCA—nature’s own humectants—could be the secret to never-dry, performance-ready lips. We partnered with cosmetic chemists to perfect a stable anhydrous formula that balances clinical-grade electrolytes with skin-loving butters and waxes.
After countless prototypes, stability tests, and late-night flavor tastings, ElectroBalm was born: the world’s first lip balm engineered to hydrate, protect, and perform—no matter how hot, cold, or challenging your day.
